Prominent: DMTrott

DMTrott or, how he's known legally, Dominic Milton Trott, is a British harm reduction advocate who has also ventured as an author and explorer. With a background in IT programming and security risk consulting for banks, DMTrott eventually decided to transition to self-employment about a decade ago, allowing him the flexibility to pursue this lifelong project and publish numerous research papers on psychoactive substances and indigenous cultures.

An expanded edition, *The Drug Users Bible* (636 pages), followed, incorporating additional drugs and global insights.

One of the most significant things that DMTrott did was conducting tests prioritizing academic documentation over social contexts, mostly by performing most of the processes entirely alone, and adhered to self-imposed rules like spacing out similar-class drugs to mitigate addiction.

The core of Trott's work is harm reduction, summed up in his mantra: "Prohibition kills: education saves lives." *The Drug Users Bible* is divided into four sections—The DrugScape (general safety, including the "10 Commandments of Safer Drug Use"), A Chemical Journey, A Botanical Journey, and The WorldScape—offering practical tools like relative harm tables, overdose advice, legal briefings, and a drug dictionary. He emphasizes in the vital importance of testing drugs for purity, rejecting the ineffective "just say no" rhetoric, and advocates with strong arguments for legalization with regulation and education. One remarkable thing is that he strongly advises against use by minors due to brain development concerns. *Drug Tourism: A Psychonautic Journey Around The World*, became an independent entity that emerged from the documentation through pictures of the considerable amount of travels that he had to accomplish his main goal.
