World Market was a darknet market launched on 9 November 2020. It grew rapidly after the 2021 exit scams and closures of its competitors, becoming one of the largest English-language markets by 2022, with Bitcoin, Monero and Litecoin support.
On 25 March 2022, the market exit scammed — going offline with users' escrowed cryptocurrency in one of the largest single exit scams of the period, before Hydra's April 2022 seizure reshuffled the ecosystem entirely.
