Tortuga was the first market in the history of DNMs that did not attempt an exit scam but proceeded to voluntary closure.
Tortuga advertised in the SR2F on 2013-12-19 also advertised on the BMR forums on 16 Dec. Up on 2014-01-01, down on 2014-01-09 & afterwards. No news about reasons for its closure. No official rules on listings were posted before it disappeared, probably because it was unpopular enough that content was not an issue.
