Nemesis Market was a Tor-based darknet marketplace trading illegal drugs, stolen data and cybercrime services such as ransomware. It operated for several years and became one of the more active English-language markets after the fall of its predecessors.
On 20-21 March 2024, Germany's Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) and the Frankfurt cybercrime unit (ZIT), working with US and Lithuanian law enforcement, seized the market's server infrastructure in Germany and Lithuania and confiscated approximately €94,000 in cryptocurrency.
