Cryptonia Market was a darknet market launched in April 2019, one of several markets that grew following the Wall Street Market seizure and Dream Market's announced retirement. It positioned itself as a secure alternative, offering Bitcoin and Monero payments.
In November 2019 the administration announced the market was shutting down. Withdrawals reportedly became difficult around the announcement, and the closure is widely regarded as an exit scam.
