New page

Bohemia Market, often paired with its companion cannabis-focused market Cannabia, was a darknet marketplace launched on 23 May 2021. It grew into one of the most prominent English-language drug markets and also listed malware and DDoS attack services. It is covered in more detail on the [[Markets:Bohemia_Market|Bohemia Market]] page.

== 2023 Instability ==
Bohemia's final year was marked by instability. On 2 October 2023 the market experienced a wallet withdrawal bug, followed by a white-screen outage on 29 October attributed to overwhelming DDoS attacks. On 22 November 2023 the market "reopened - supposedly", a move which in hindsight coincided with the final period of its operation. The market stopped operating in late 2023.

== Dismantling ==
On 10 October 2024, the Dutch National Police (Politie) announced the dismantling of Bohemia/Cannabia, describing it at the time as the world's largest and longest-running dark web market for illegal goods. The investigation, carried out with partners in Ireland, the United Kingdom and the United States, had begun towards the end of 2022.

Two suspected administrators were arrested, and over €8 million in cryptocurrency was seized from them. Following the takedown, data from the platform fed into further international enforcement action, most notably Operation RapTor in May 2025.
